NESN is a definite perk to living in New England. Actually, I have the best of both worlds here ... Bravos on TBS and BoSox at NESN. Gaufridus -- I totally recommend going satellite. Federal law mandates that all apartment complexes MUST allow dishes, and at least up here, DirecTV is far cheaper than Adelphia could ever dream of being.
I'm not sure how I'll cope when I head back to the ATL for the final Wedding Countdown without NESN....
A decent amount of Red Sox games play on at least one of the ESPNs, and by June/July there'll be few other sports, outside of poker, to be broadcast on ESPN. And then of course you'll have to wear either a red sox hat or maybe garter as your something blue...
Well, I know you can watch NESN in bars, our here... I'd go for satellite, but the future Mrs. Gaufridus likes OnDemand HBO too much for that... but I might be able to get a sports package... in either case, we're putting off television altogether until our budget is healthier, and our new place is more settled into.
For now, I'll just have to keep up with the record on the web... and Gameday, when I'm aware enough to be at the computer when a game's on...

Seriously, he's so good it's ridiculous. 12 1/3 scoreless innings and counting, 9 for 9 in save opportunities... and it's only April.
