Snow patrol: Northwest Vermont seems to have been spared the Nor'easter that tore through the coast this weekend; as a matter of fact, it hasn't snowed at all here.
Just the other day, Socratic was complaining to me how NYC hadn't gotten any big storm this year. Well here you go, chuckles! So I'd love to hear some reports from our NYC fans and any commenter who lives where the snow has just fallen. How much did you get? What are conditions like?

I haven't talked to my dad since the storm, but he was saying the coast was supposed to get pummeled, leaving God's Country virtually untouched by the glorious snow, by comparison... He said it has been bitterly cold, which makes for good snowmaking, I suppose... especially since he also said that there's pretty much NO SNOW. It's like that in Chicago, too.... this is the worst Winter ever.

It's a good day in Brooklyn when you see more people cross-country skiing down the street than you see cars. Snow rocks. I'd post photos, but I honestly don't know how, especially as I'm only a guest on this blog
