Shrink wrap your house!: With Boudicca off at school this afternoon, the responsibility has fallen to me to insulate the upstairs windows. We went to the hardware store and got this totally sweet shrink-wrap stuff that creates a seal that 'locks out' cold air. It's incredibly fun and the upstairs feels warmer already! I just thought I would share that with you.

Yeah, we did that to a few windows at Anj's place, the ones that are a little drafty... It is quite a bit of fun to install, and does make a difference. Good stuff. Of course, we did that back in bitterly cold NOVEMBER... and then it got WARM. It's colder now, so it wan't all wasted effort. We also put some up at her grandmother's place in the 'burbs. One window was like 5' x 8'... done in a single sheet... crayZEE!
