I agree that O'Neill was great fun, but I'm also liking John Crichton ... er... Cam Mitchell.
I've never been able to get into Atlantis and have had a tendency over the past few years to avoid getting involved with new shows like Galactica. I'm too busy to meet new characters. I don't casually date TV shows. Hahaha
The Daniel-Vala chemistry brought some necessary spark back to the show. Now, if only they can either make the Ori more bad-ass or vanquish them entirely, we'll almost be back in business. I find it hard to believe they are an actual villain since the gang can always out-thwart them.
I too am disappointed by the Ori. What originally seemed to be an existential threat - coercive religion! - has now devolved into "bad guys who kill stuff." Blah.

Amen! The end of this season and the beginning of the next season cannot get here fast enough.
I vaguely watched last night's episode and was bored everytime Carter was onscreen. Then I remembered how fun the episodes with Vala were...
